Session 1

“VCs and Intellectual Property: How much are the IP assets REALLY worth?”

Attendees of this session will get a first-hand perspective of how an opportunity’s intellectual property (IP) position impacts funding prospects. What are the best methods for protecting the IP while vetting the opportunities? What’s the difference between a “stakeholder” and a “shareholder"? How will the idea/technology change and will the inventor still own it? The questions will be a launch pad for a robust Q&A with panelists.

  • Session 2

“Collaboration opportunities from Universities, Federal Labs, and other entities: What You Need to Know”

This panel will feature representatives that will talk not only about potential licensing opportunities, but also provide insight on the best steps to leveraging them.
